Research/Academic Interests:

My research develops cutting-edge knowledge and technologies to address these urgent problems in public health microbiology with focus on freshwater harmful algal blooms and clinical multidrug resistance. My research on freshwater harmful algal blooms focuses on the cause and control of harmful algal blooms, evaluation and management of algal toxin risks, analysis of algal toxin and algal bioactive, UV-absorbing compound mycosporine-like amino acid. My present research on clinical multidrug resistance focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies for pharmaceutical and metabolite detection, advanced cell imaging, gene editing to advance the development of new drugs.

  • Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences
