OLD_2020Take Your Child to Work Day
TYCTWD was launched in 2017 and welcomed 200 children ages 8-13. Since then, TYCTWD has grown from 5 program areas to 7 and welcomed 280 children in 2019, a 40% increase in participation.
Faculty and staff who participated in the program expressed an interest in bringing younger and older children to TYCTWD activities. In 2019 children as young as 4 and old as 15 accompanied their parents.
Take Your Child to Work Day is sponsored by Staff Council and generously supported by Administration & Finance, Faculty Senate, each participating area, and volunteers across the university. Thank you for your support!
2020 TYCTWD ACTIVITIES
2020 TYCTWD Is Postponed Until Further Notice.TYCTWD will no longer take place on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 8:00am to 11:00am at various locations across campus. In the interest of public health and an abundance of precaution, Staff Council has postponed Take Your Child to Work Day 2020 until further notice.
The safety of our UH community and family is our top priority. Staff Council will communicate when a future date is chosen. |
