University Career Services hosts a series of workshops throughout the year on a variety of career-related topics. Click below to view this semester’s lineup:

Employer Meet & Greets

During Meet & Greets employers make presentations on topics that include the organization's career opportunities, culture, products or services, and open positions. Students will have an opportunity to speak with the representatives in small groups or individually before or after the presentation. Professional or "business casual" dress is encouraged.

Prepare for the Fair Week
If you are in the market for a job or internship and attending your first career fair this semester, we're hostng helpful workshops to get you prepared.

University Career Services plans special events throughout the year that are geared towards helping all students prepare for virtual career fairs, graduate school, virtual interviewing, or confidently choosing this major. Virtual events for this semester will include our Graduate School Open House, JCPenney Suit-Up event, #Prepare4TheFair Week, Graduate School Prep Week, Major and Career Exploration Week, and more!

Graduate School Prep Week
Graduate School Prep Week is a transformative week-long event designed to empower students with the knowledge and resources they need to embark on their advanced education journey.

Through a dynamic series of workshops, attendees will gain invaluable insights into the nuances of graduate school admissions, program selection, and career planning. Engaging with seasoned academics and industry experts, participants will explore topics ranging from crafting compelling personal statements to securing funding for their studies. This event serves as a comprehensive roadmap, equipping students with the tools and confidence necessary to pursue their academic aspirations with clarity and purpose. Join us for a week of inspiration, guidance, and networking, as we pave the way for the next generation of scholars and professionals.

Career Fairs

A Career Fair is an event where recruiters and students can meet to discuss potential internship or career opportunities.

Virtual Events

Attend virtual graduate/professional school fairs and career fairs from anywhere. UH students and alumni can connect with non-UH System affiliated virtual sessions to learn more about graduate programs and job opportunities within a variety of industries.
