Staff Council Leadership Recognition

The Staff Council Leadership Luncheon and Awards Ceremony celebrates the dedicated service and accomplishments of the 2018 2019 Staff Council Representatives and the academic achievements of the 2019-2020 Staff Council scholarship recipients.

    2018-2019 Staff Council President

    Emily Merrill was recognized for her outstanding dedication and exceptionally meritorious leadership as served as 2018-2019 Staff Council President.

    Friends of Staff Council Award

    Friends of Staff Council Award is presented to an individual or individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary support of Staff Council initiatives and programs.

    This award is given at the discretion of the Staff Council President. The 2019 Friends of Staff Council Award recognized Dr. Emily Messa and Ms. Nancy Nguyen from Administration and Finance for their support of existing programs such as existing programs and new Staff Council initiatives that aim to build staff traditions, and increase morale and retention.

    CFI Excellence in Leadership Award

    Tommiie Trevino was presented with the CFI Excellence in Leadership Award for her visionary guidance and exceptional leadership as Cougar First Impressions Committee Co-Chair for six years.
