She will assist the operations and residence life teams with various projects to prepare for the upcoming academic year. During her time here, her tasks will be linked to ACUHO-I Core Competencies and centered around evaluation and planning, academic initiatives, and assessment. In addition to her responsibilities, Sydney will also have the opportunity to meet with and learn from upper administration both internal to UH and at regional institutions.

Sydney is a current graduate student in the Ohio State Master of Higher Education and Student Affairs program. She graduated from Ohio State with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology.

After finishing her graduate program, Sydney intends to move south to be closer to her family, and work with students in crisis or employee recruitment. She spends most of her free time with her dog, Buddy, going on walks or playing fetch.
