Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair Announces First-Ever Brewmaster’s Table Beer-Pairing Dinner 2/28/2014

SUGAR LAND, Texas—Calling all beer aficionados! The Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair is proud to announce that George F. Reisch, Anheuser-Busch brewmaster and director of brewmaster outreach, will be the guest of honor and speaker for an exclusive Brewmaster’s Table beer-pairing dinner at Jupiter Pizza & Waffle Co. in Sugar Land on March 27, 2014.

Guests will enjoy six hand-picked beers, perfectly paired with five mouthwatering courses while Reisch—a fifth-generation brewmaster—details how the brewing process and ingredients make each of the beers unique. Among the brews being served at the dinner are delectable Belgian ales and selections from the award-winning Goose Island brewery, including the limited-release Bourbon County Stout and a brand-new Goose Island 312 Pale Ale that will be making its official debut just weeks before.

Thanks to popular demand, beer will be taking its rightful place at the table at the 2014 Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair, and this one-of-a-kind dinner is the ultimate way for everyone to celebrate beer’s impending arrival to the party.

For the first time ever, the festival, which begins in April, will feature a craft-beer seminar, and there will be craft beer selections from well-loved brands like Saint Arnold and Goose Island at the Grand Tasting. An expanded beer garden at the Sip & Stroll will feature 25 breweries—including new local favorite, Fort Bend Brewing Company—serving more than 100 beers, along with barbecue, sliders and live music.

Tickets to the Brewmaster’s Table beer-pairing dinner are $65 each and can be purchased at www.sugarlandwineandfoodaffair.com.com/events. For a more intimate experience, an extremely limited number of tickets, priced at $85, are available for the “private pour” meet-and-greet with Reisch prior to the dinner.

The Conrad N. Hilton College is a producing partner and beneficiary of the Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair.
