Chuck Warczak is semi-retired and a partner in NextGen Hotels, based in Orlando, Florida. He is the former senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Sunburst Hospitality Corporation in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he was instrumental in the growth of Sunburst from 12 to 85 hotels in the late 1990s.Prior to Sunburst, Chuck was vice president of finance and systems for Choice Hotels International and the Manor Care Hotel Division. Prior to this, he was vice president of management information systems and vice president of finance for MHM, Inc. in Dallas.
Chuck is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Hotel Administrator and a Certified Hospitality Technology Professional.
Chuck graduated with a degree in accounting from Texas Christian University and received a degree in hotel and restaurant management in 1975 from the University of Houston, where he was on the Dean's List for academics. He received the Founding Dean's Award in 2001 from the Hilton College Alumni Association.
He served in the Texas and Illinois National Guard and received a National Guard of Texas Certificate of Achievement for exceptional services rendered to the National Guard of Texas.
