Assessment and Planning

The Division of Student Affairs is committed to ensuring that the programs and services we provide allow for students at the University of Houston to be successful, persist in their chosen program, and graduate. To this end, assessment and planning for the division are aimed to understand how our areas facilitate student success and learning. Included within this commitment is transparency and intentionality in activities designed to support departmental assessment planning, annual reporting, and strategic planning.

This site is intended to support all members of the division with resources on assessment and planning, including templates and processes used. Each department is supported through the Director of Assessment and Planning and the assessment committee in developing, coordinating, maintaining, and reporting high-quality assessment, reporting, and planning. The assessment committee consists of volunteer members who assist with assessment activities within their respective departments as well as the overall division. The committee members provide consultation on assessment projects, training to colleagues, and serve as the primary liaison between their departments and the Assessment Committee. The strategic plan guides the division to strive for the best in ourselves, our community, and the students we serve.
