Alumni who recruit talent for their respective companies can create an account, register for specific career fairs, and post opportunities in our online recuriting platform, Cougar Pathway. Current students, recent graduates, and experienced alumni from all majors have access to Cougar Pathway and will be able to view and apply for your posted positions.

Depending on whether you are a recent graduate or an alumnus of the University of Houston, subscribing to Alumni Career Services can be accomplished in the following ways:

Recent graduates and alumni are able to meet with an Alumni Career Counselor on the topics of their choice, attend workshops and events, and a host of other services are available.

VIP Access entails meeting with employers exclusively before an event begins. At this time, only alumni who purchase subscriptions with University Career Services can get VIP Access at Alumni Career Fairs. There may be other events throughout the year that alumni with subscriptions could be invited to.

Yes, the university from which you graduated will need to verify your graduation, date, and major on official letterhead.  The letter can be mailed to ceolmedo@central.uh.edu

Once the alumni career services subscription is purchased, the alum is encouraged to attend career fairs hosted by UCS, utilize Cougar Pathway and CareerShift for job search opportunities, and schedule appointments with an alumni career development specialist.

Please contact Alumni Career Services directly and we can assist you with creating, planning, and promoting your event to alumni.

Employers can post job opportunities in our recruiting platform, Cougar Pathway. Current students, recent graduates, and alumni from all majors have access to Cougar Pathway and will be able to view and apply for your postings.

An Alumni Career Development Specialist can conduct mock interviews to assist with preparing for general and MMI interviews, as well as review personal statements and letters of intent for any professional graduate program.

Alumni Career Services provides continuous services for recent graduates and alumni.  Recent graduates (6 months following graduation) can access career services and utilize Cougar Pathway via AccessUH.

Following the six-month grace period, alumni can purchase an alumni career services subscription and a new alumni account will be created using a unique link to Cougar Pathway.
