Social Work Licensure
In order to become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas, you must meet the following requirements:
- CSWE-accredited master’s degree in social work or a doctoral degree in social work
- Verification of a supervised practicum placement completed during university enrollment
- Passing score on the ASWB master’s exam
- Completion of a Texas jurisprudence exam
