Long before he was a sportscaster, Jim Nantz was a student pipe dream: to work for CBS.

Determined to land his dream job, he was recruited to the University of Houston in 1977 as a member of the golf team. Immediately, he began putting in the work necessary to make his dream a reality. He majored in radio and television broadcasting and graduated in 1981.

In the years since, Nantz has realized his dream becoming one of the most well-known voices in sports today.
