  Lavender Graduation Spring 2021 a huge success

  The University of Houston LGBTQ Resource Center’s Spring 2021 Lavender Graduation was virtual and was as fun and engaging as ever. On Friday evening, May 7, 2021, over 55 graduates and guests gathered on Zoom to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of many of UH’s LGBTQ+ and ally graduates.

  LGBTQ Resource Center to offer three additional scholarships

  Due to a generous donation from Alyssa Parks and a company matching gift, the LGBTQ Resource Center is able to offer three additional scholarships for the 2021–2022 academic year.

  Juliann Losey joins LGBTQ Resource Center as Gender and Sexuality Education Program Manager

  Juliann will oversee the LGBTQ+ ambassador/leadership program. They will bring campus-wide speakers to expand LGBTQ+ awareness, as well as conduct gender and sexuality educational workshops about a variety of issues relating to identity, inclusion, and allyship.

  UHLC's O'Quinn Law Library appointed Pride Partner by UH LGBTQ Resource Center

  Aug. 4, 2020 - The University of Houston Law Center's O'Quinn Law Library has been designated as a Pride Partner, after unanimous approval from the University of Houston's LGBTQ Resource Center Advisory Board.

  UH LGBTQ Resource Centers Launches Virtual Office Hours and Online Activities

  Our slogan at the LGBTQ Resource Center is "Be Yourself Here." It is a space where students can be their authentic selves. When our staff asks, "How have you been?", you can tell the truth. Even when the answer is "not so good", we will listen, ask questions, and offer support.

  We want to let you know that we are still here to do that. The only difference now is that we cannot sit down for a chat in our offices. Fortunately, we have created many digital spaces for you to reach out to us.
