Aspen is the Programming Assistant for the LGBTQ Resource Center. He is a Senior, majoring in Anthropology and minoring in History. He is most passionate about Medical Anthropology and History, particularly how social inequalities influence Public Health. Aspen has been a Facilitator for the Resource Center’s Transgender and Nonbinary Discussion Group since the Fall of 2019 and is passionate about advocating for the Transgender and Nonbinary community. He formerly was a member of the Gender Diversity Living Learning Community on campus and is a member of GLOBAL, an LGBTQ+ student organization at UH.
