Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The 2020 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration is an opportunity for the University of Houston community to celebrate and reflect on the legacy and life of civil rights leader Dr. King. We gather during this time to memorialize the work and accomplishments of one of the most prominent African American leaders in modern history.

The MLK Celebration Committee, composed of UH students, faculty and staff, organized and planned several events that will take place January 14 – January 25. All events are free and open to the public.
