Schedule an advising appointment

Meet with your academic advisor to ensure you are on the right path towards your degree. Here are some questions to ask during the meeting:

  • How far along am I in my degree plan?
  • Do I need to take a class this summer to graduate in four years?
  • Does my degree require a minor, a capstone, or a foreign language?

Professional development

Start thinking about your resume and professional experiences during your second year. Schedule a meeting with a Career Counselor and ask the following questions:

  • What should I include on my resume? 
  • How do I write a professional email?
  • Where do I begin if I want an internship?
