Graduate Tuition Fellowships & Assistantships

Graduate Tuition Fellowships

Competitive Graduate Tuition Fellowships (GTF) may be available for full-time Ph.D. in higher education leadership and policy studies students, while preference is given to full-time students employed in graduate, teaching and research assistant positions in the College of Education. The GTF covers the cost of in-state tuition and mandatory fees for full-time enrollment of nine (9) credit hours per term (fall and spring). This award is non-refundable and will be adjusted if the scholarship amount exceeds the actual cost of a student's in-state tuition and mandatory fees.

To be eligible to receive GTF, a graduate student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and follow all rules set forth by the Graduate School. In addition to the GTF, the Graduate School offers competitive fellowships that we may be able to offer incoming students. You can find out more information about the GTF and UH graduate funding here.
