April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April 2021 marks the official 20th anniversary! Learn about UH’s SAAM events.

SAAM is an annual campaign to raise public awareness about sexual assault and educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence. The teal ribbon and color symbol sexual assault awareness and prevention.

Sexual Violence Prevention Education Committee

The Sexual Violence Prevention Education committee was created to educate and inform the campus community about issues concerning sexual violence and its prevention. We offer education on a variety of topics from highly qualified instructors and multiple confidential and non-confidential resources. Whether you or someone you know is dealing with any kind of sexual misconduct issue you are not alone and you will be heard and supported.
