Bio
Cori Cohen Grant is an research assistant professor in the department of sociology and UH population health. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Memphis School of Public Health in 2017.
Dr. Grant specializes in implementation science, health systems improvement, and the social determinants of health (SDoH). Her work is focused on preventive health and understanding and addressing health disparities through community engagement and organizational change. She employs qualitative research methods and implementation science to disseminate and implement effective health interventions. Additionally, Dr. Grant has experience in leveraging partnerships with community-based organizations and primary care practices to promote health equity and improve population health.
