Incoming Freshman
Apply as a first-year freshman if you are a high school senior or if you graduated high school/GED but never attended a college or university.
Transfer Students
Apply as a transfer if you have earned 15 or more transferable hours of college credit after high school graduation.
International Students
Apply as an international student if you want to attend the University of Houston with citizenship from a country outside the U.S.
Returning Students
You must apply for readmission if you were previously enrolled in undergraduate coursework at the University of Houston and are ready to return to UH after an enrollment pause of 13 months or longer or are ready to return to UH from academic suspension.
