Bio:

Dr. Gurkan received her PhD in electrical engineering from USC in 2003. Her research is on network infrastructure development, software-defined networking, and network measurements. She teaches hands-on computer networking in computer engineering technology undergraduate program and network programming in the graduate program on Network Communications.
