QiaoPing Lin is an expert in piano teaching and music performance. Her teaching style is popular and praised as expressive, imaginative and patient. More importantly, she uses flexible methods for students with different characters. 

Ping is capable of instructing various levels of students, but especially children with intermediate to advanced skills and progressing beginners. She pays special attention to build up students’ talent and interest in playing piano.

Students under her instruction will learn music in multiple genres, such as baroque; classical; romantic; jazz and popular pieces. While learning these repertoires, students will gain knowledge of musical history and theory.

Lin has performed in the Brancaleoni International Music Festival in Piobbico, Italy and has instructed piano at the Harmony Music Studio in Guangzhou, China. In addition to instructing for the Preparatory and Continuing Studies Department, she teaches at Harmony Music Training LLC in Sugar Land, Texas.

Lin’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Art from Guangdong Baiyun University and a Master of Music from the University of South Florida. She is now earning her Master of Music in piano pedagogy at the University of Houston. Her musical certifications awarded by the ABRSM include a Diploma of Music Performance and Grade Eight Theory.
