Anna Langley

Lecturer in Music Education

Anna Langley (Music Education [PT]) brings over thirty years of experience in the elementary classroom to the University of Houston. She has conducted in-service workshops for several school districts, and has twice presented creative ideas and methods at the Texas Music Education Association's (TMEA) annual convention. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Capital University in Ohio, a Master in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University in Texas, and is Orff Level 3 certified. She is a past President and Vice President of Texas Gulf Coast Orff. Recently retired from Fort Bend ISD, she was the Colony Bend Elementary 2006 Teacher of the Year. She has also had the opportunity to serve as the Region 13 Representative for the Elementary Division of TMEA and as a member on the 2005 State of Texas textbook Music TEKS committee.
