Marketing Assistant

Students serving in this position will serve as on-camera hosts for SHRL’s video series (i.e., In the Loop, Coogs on the Street) and work to coordinate and staff outreach events that present the department with in-person opportunities to inform students of their options for on-campus housing. Responsibilities range from presenting SHRL-approved info to students at New Student Orientation activities to identifying and managing inventory for SHRL-branded swag items. Additionally, students will assist with the development of social media messaging for the department’s monthly content calendar. 

Cougar Move-in Crew Leader

The Student Housing and Residential Life (SHRL) Cougar Move-in Crew Leaders will assist with planning and managing the 2024 Cougar Move-in Volunteer Program and Marketing Operations during move-in week. Responsibilities range from assisting with volunteer recruitment and management to event planning. Students will work with members of the SHRL marketing and communications team to recruit and on-board volunteers for Cougar Move-in. They will also play a key role in the planning, development, and implementation and evaluation of the Cougar Move-in volunteer program.
