An evening that connects people who do not normally talk to one another-- politicians, police officers, activists, victims of violence, and young people-- in restorative justice circles hosted by mediators from the Restorative Empowerment for Youth (REY). In the wake of a global reckoning around racial injustice, the goal of these 'Truth Telling Circles' is to convene Houstonians to connect to each other in frank conversation around what needs to occur to transform criminal justice in our city.
