HATC Teacher Job Fair

The Houston Area Teacher Center sponsors a teacher job fair twice annually at the University of Houston. The job fair is open to representatives from school districts, charter schools and other educational organizations to recuit student teachers.

About the Center

The Houston Area Teacher Center is a consortium of about 30 Houston-area school systems and the University of Houston College of Education. The center serves as a forum for school district and college representatives to work through issues of common concern such as teacher supply and demand, student teaching, professional development and more. Initiated in 1970, HATC is believed to be the oldest and largest teacher center in the nation.
