
The Department of Modern and Classical Languages invites you to celebrate the publication of two new books by MCL professors Alessandro Carrera and Francesca D’Alessandro Behr. Richard H. Armstrong, who has a dual appointment as associate professor of Classical Studies in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages will introduce Alessandro Carrera’s Fellini’s Eternal Rome: Paganism and Christianity in Federico Fellini’s Films (Bloomsbury, 2019). Dr. Federica Ciccolella, professor of Classics and Italian at Texas A&M, will be introducing Francesca D’Alessandro Behr’s Arms and the Woman: Classical Tradition and Women Writers in the Venetian Renaissance (Ohio State University Press, 2018).
