COMD's clinical services featured on public radio's UH Moment

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders was recently featured on Houston Public Radio, KUHF 88.7 FM, during the UH Moment segment produced by Marisa Ramirez.

The story focuses on the clinical services performed by the University of Houston Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic — and includes department chair Lynn Maher.

"We are about training speech language pathologists to work with individuals who have communication disorders," Maher said in the segment. "We are the only academic program in the city of Houston that trains speech language pathologists."
