Marissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor with seven years of experience spanning across higher education, medicated assisted treatment, and community mental health. She has experience providing individual, family, and group counseling, as well as crisis management. When working with clients, Marissa uses a person-centered approach combined with a CBT framework, to best meet the needs of the individual. Marissa's clinical interests include helping students adjust to college, relationship/family related issues, career and lifestyle counseling, as well as treatment of anxiety/mood related disorders.
