University of Houston students, staff and faculty were able to shop for a wide range of gifts and products during a special holiday-themed UH Farmers Market.
The event, which took place Nov. 29 in Wilhelmina Grove in the Arts District on the north side of campus, was the fifth and final market of the inaugural fall semester.
Launched in September, the UH Farmers Market was created so the UH community could shop for locally sourced and produced food items without having to leave campus. It was held every other Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. in various locations across campus.
Plans call for the event to continue during the spring semester.
