DAN 4307: Dance Pedagogy I (formerly DAN 3307)
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: DAN 2204, 2214, 2217, 2300, and consent of instructor. Development of skills for teaching creative dance to children, dance improvisation, and the analysis of development skills through movement. Introduction to somatics practiced in dance.

DAN 4308: Dance Pedagogy II
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: DAN 4307. Development of teaching dance technique in various styles of modern, ballet, and jazz inclusive of curriculum and lesson planning. Application of methods of analyzing dance training from a conceptual basis, using laboratory analysis, motor development, kinesiology, and aesthetic principals.
