For GI Bill re-certification, UH requires submission of the online Veteran Certification forms to the Office of the University Registrar each semester. Check the Student Center of your online student account for your To-Do List. If there is a link there called Veteran Certification, you can download and complete the 2-page form, then upload them at the same link as long as they are in one continuous pdf file. If the Veteran Certification link is not in your To-Do List, request the link by email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone, 713-743-1010 option 7, leaving your name and student ID number.
This form is used to request a letter from a UH School Certifying Official (SCO) to be sent to an SCO at another college. The letter is proof of class enrollment for the purpose of using VA education benefits at both institutions.
UH as Parent Institution:Complete the form, listing your class enrollment elsewhere. Indicate how you want the letter to be distributed.
Another College as Parent Institution:Complete the form, listing your class enrollment at UH. Indicate how you want the letter to be distributed.
