There are many areas around campus where you can study, have quiet time or grab a snack. The list below includes areas conducive to group study or silent study. Study spaces follow the operational hours of the campus during the regular academic year: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 9:55 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m. to 4:55 p.m., closed Sundays.

Students are welcome to study in the library and use the computers for research. For hours and more information about library services, visit the library page.

Open Computer Lab

Students may make use of the computer lab on the third floor of the George Building, next to the IT Service Desk. Students will need a computer account to log on to the computers in the lab. All students in the lab must follow the lab guidelines. For hours and more information about the computer lab, visit the student IT services page.

Student Lounge

Soft drinks, water and juice may be purchased in the student lounges on the first floors of the George Building and Brazos Hall. A variety of snacks, along with a refrigerator and microwave are available for students. With faculty permission, students are allowed to bring drinks and food into general classrooms. Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in computer labs, instructional television classrooms and science labs.
