The University of Houston's research enterprise achieves unprecedented success, setting
new standards for preeminence. This Annual Report highlights our remarkable strides.
With the Presidential Frontier Faculty hiring program, we've recruited 25 professors
annually for four years, focused on thematic areas and societal challenges. Simultaneously,
our core facilities in data science, automation, imaging, and more drive unparalleled
discovery and innovation.
Our efforts yield impressive outcomes, including a 35% increase in research contracts
over $1 million and attracting federally-funded research centers. Through initiatives
like Research Reaching Houston we showcase our impact locally and nationally.
As we strive for sustained excellence, we welcome feedback from our alumni, supporters,

The Presidential Frontier Faculty
The Presidential Frontier Faculty program is an innovative initiative to hire 100 exceptional faculty members over four years. These faculty will concentrate on addressing critical societal issues in health, energy, security, and sustainability.
