Finding Balance Virtual Event

Join us for conversation and connection on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. as we discuss taking care of our health amid the pandemic and racial tensions. Professionals from the education and health care fields will share insights. RSVP by Nov. 16.

Expert Panel:

  • Anette Edens is a three-time Coog and licensed psychologist who works with families experiencing adolescent or adult child behavior problems and substance abuse.
  • Kayce Solari Williams is a clinical assistant professor of health at the UH College of Education and president of the American School Health Association.
  • Kimberly Smoots is a Ph.D. student in the school psychology program at the UH College of Education who is interested in reducing stigma around mental health.
  • Luis Landa, who has an Ed.D. from the UH College of Education, serves as principal of Chavez High School in the Houston Independent School District.

Moderated by Clinical Assistant Professor Keith Butcher, director of the M.Ed. in administration and supervision program
