GRE Waivers for PHLS Programs

The following programs in the Department of Psychological, Health, & Learning Sciences do not require applicants to take the GRE based on the conditions listed below.

M.Ed. in Counseling

Admission term: fall applicants

  • GRE waiver: Yes
  • Waiver requirements: None. All applicants are granted the waiver for the terms listed.

Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology

Admission term: fall applicants

  • GRE waiver: Yes
  • Waiver requirements: Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale) OR a master’s degree or terminal degree

Ph.D. in Measurement, Quantitative Methods and Learning Sciences

Admission term: fall applicants

  • GRE waiver: Yes
  • Waiver requirements: Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale) OR a master’s degree or terminal degree

Ph.D. in School Psychology

Admission term: fall applicants

  • GRE waiver: Yes
  • Waiver requirements: Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale) OR a master’s degree or terminal degree
