The following programs in the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies do not require applicants to take the GRE based on the conditions listed below.

M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision

Admission terms: fall, spring and summer 2024 applicants

  • Fall 2022 applicants: Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale) OR a master’s degree or terminal degree

M.Ed. in Higher Education

Admission term: fall 2024 and beyond

• GRE waiver: Yes
• Waiver requirements: Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4-point scale) OR a master’s degree or terminal degree

M.Ed. in Special Populations

Admission terms: fall and spring 2024 and beyond

• GRE waiver: Yes
• Waiver requirements: None. All applicants are granted the waiver for the terms listed.

Ed.D. in Professional Leadership — K-12

Admission term: fall 2024 and beyond

• GRE waiver: Yes
• Waiver requirements: None. All applicants are granted the waiver for the terms listed.
