CLASS Welcomes Dean Roberts

It's official; as of July 1, Dr. John W. Roberts began his service as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences.

Roberts served as the Dean of Arts and Humanities and a professor of English at Ohio State University. Throughout his career, he has been engaged in activities and initiatives designed to support an inclusive educational and work environment. His commitment to providing faculty and students with global experiences is evident in an arts and humanities curriculum that includes the teaching of more than 35 languages and in his support for a large number of study abroad programs. Dr. Roberts brings to CLASS a wealth of administrative experience and scholarly achievement.

Faculty and staff are excited beyond measure about the arrival of our new Dean and we have great optimism for the future of the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences under his leadership.
