A&F Supports Commencement Ceremonies

Commencement season has come and gone at the University of Houston, and departments from Administration and Finance were once again pivotal in ensuring the ceremonies went smoothly.

Departments like Copy & Print, the UH Campus Store, Parking & Transportation, the University of Houston Police Department, and Campus Safety were instrumental before, during, and after commencement. Their hard work allowed new Coog graduates, their families, and friends a safe and joyous commencement ceremony.

Parking and Transportation Enhances Student Outreach Through Tabling Events

To better connect with students, Parking and Transportation Services hosted two tabling events in September, offering helpful information and on-the-spot answers to common questions. At each event, the department displayed two large posters—one detailing shuttle services and another explaining how to park correctly so the license plate reader can scan plates properly. In addition to helpful information, the department also handed out a variety of giveaways.

Construction is well underway for the upcoming Centennial Celebration at UH in 2027 and with new transportation features in place, it’s good to plan ahead before arriving on campus.
