Writing and Research

As a college journalist, Mark Lacy received perfect scores from the Associated Collegiate Press for editing the entertainment section of the university newspaper, and as sports editor, a feature he wrote was syndicated nationally.

Following college, he received grants and stipends for writing historical features for several private foundations. With his continued research in the area of historical culture of Texas and Oklahoma he will complete a historical-fiction book tracing the roots of families in the region.

Lacy has experience managing publication budgets, advetising contracts and deadlines.
