Broadcast Experience

As the host of the World Music Show and the Regional and Historical Music Show, Mark Lacy has logged more than 1,500 hours on KTRU, Rice University Radio. He has also been a versitile substitute for KTRU's Classical, Reggae, Blues and Folk programs.

He has been a guest DJ on radio stations at the University of Texas, Tulane, Georgetown, Oregon Institute of Technology, and for the Voice of the Navajo Nation, KTNN in Window Rock, Arizona.

The goal of his programs is to bring the music and dialogue of many diverse cultures and historical artists to the listening audience, and to make the public aware of cultural activities in the area. For his efforts he has been interviewed on KLTR, KTRH and KPFT.
