This placement exam is for University of Houston students and serves to assess students' level of mastery.  The exam results are used for test credit, if eligible and to determine if students will be placed in ARAB 1501, ARAB 1502, ARAB 2301, ARAB 2302, ARAB 3301, or ARAB 3302.

• Notes:  Students registered for the placement exam must be enrolled at the University of Houston to have credit awarded and must not be registered for the course for which credit is being attempted.
• Students may receive a maximum of thirteen hours of course credit based on the test scores.
• Test results will be available after ten business days.
• Please select the University of Houston so your exam scores will be shared with UH Testing Services.
• When registering for the exam and you choose the Oral and Writing tests make sure to select the remote proctoring options.
