Support for Our GCSW Community Impacted by Recent Flooding

Dean Dyson

As Dean of the Graduate College of Social Work, I want to extend my heartfelt sympathies to all who have been impacted by the devastating flooding that swept through the Texas Hill Country on Friday, July 4. We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that have unfolded in Kerr County and throughout the affected regions in the wake of this catastrophic disaster. Please know that our thoughts are with each of you, your families, and the communities enduring these unimaginable losses.

Our Advising team will be reaching out this week to check on students residing in the Hill Country area. Additionally, we have created a check-in form for any student who would like to let us know how you are doing or if you are facing urgent needs.

Above all, please prioritize your safety and well-being. We are here for you and stand ready to assist however we can.
