Welcome to Postdoctoral Researchers Wonbae Jeon and Anirban Roy
Research Supervisor is Dr. Yunsoo Choi

Wonbae Jeon
Wonbae JeonDr. Wonbae Jeon is a meteorologist whose focus area is the atmospheric and air quality modeling that he studied in South Korea for his 2014 Ph.D. dissertation from the Pusan National University. His postdoctoral research at the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences will be supervised by Dr. Yunsoo Choi and will focus on air quality modeling and analysis over the U.S. and East Asia region.

Anirban Roy
Anirban RoyDr. Anirban Roy obtained his Ph.D. from the Center for Atmospheric Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a postdoctoral fellow supervised by Dr. Yunsoo Choi. His current research focuses on how the speciation of volatile organic compounds from gasoline motor exhaust is affected by changes in temperature. He has also been studying the temperature dependence of organic aerosol exhaust from motor vehicles and developing parameterizations for the yield of secondary organic aerosol. The findings of these studies will ultimately be used to update chemical transport modeling.
