Dr. Lisa Farmer’s goal as an instructor is to introduce students to biological concepts and stimulate enthusiasm and appreciation for the field, particularly in her areas of expertise – genetics, molecular biology and plant physiology. Farmer aims to produce students who bear the knowledge of scientific facts, understand the process of scientific discovery, can analyze and critically evaluate the work of biologists, and are familiar with the ethos and practical function of the scientific community.
