Gallery 1: Beyond Memory, Sajeela Siddiq
Comprising of staggered drawings on translucent paper, this show is an exercise in reconstructing an expanded space that recalls fragmented impressions from the artist’s multicultural experiences. The layered nature of the installation is inspired by the density of memories, in this case, borrowed from architectural details, textile patterns, poetry, and music.
