a
faculty
artist
recital
by
Mann-Wen
Lo,
violin.
Mann-Wen
Lo
(Professor
of
Practice
in
Violin)
is
joined
by
pianist
Andrew
Staupe
(Assistant
Professor
of
Piano)
and
horn
player
Robert
Johnson
(Associate
Principal
Horn
at
the
Houston
Symphony).
This
recital
will
feature
the
following
repertoire:
Brahms:
Trio
in
E-flat
major
for
Horn,
Violin
and
Piano,
Op.
40
Respighi:
Sonata
in
B
Minor
for
Violin
and
Piano
Violinist
Mann-Wen
Lo
performs
extensively
worldwide
as
both
a
soloist
and
chamber
musician.
Her
musicianship
has
graced
renowned
venues
such
as
Carnegie
Hall,
Alice
Tully
Hall,
Jordan
Hall
and
Walt
Disney
Hall,
earning
acclaim
on
news
media,
radio
and
TV
in
the
United
States,
Taiwan,
Japan,
and
France.
Mann-Wen
is
a
multi-award
winner
in
various
competitions
and
auditions,
most
recently
honored
with
the
2021
Na
Hoku
Hanohano
Award
for
Instrumental
Album
of
the
Year
for
her
work
with
the
Mana
Music
Quartet.
Mann-Wen
has
been
a
featured
artist
and
has
recorded
under
labels
such
as
Warner
Classics,
Navona
Records,
and
CMH
Label
Groups.
