The Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts - Project Row Houses Fellowships, which invite artists and cultural practitioners to Houston’s Third Ward to work alongside community members, artists, planners, educators, and policymakers, have become a model for equitable place-based partnerships. Learn about the program’s structure and partnership model, and its long-term impact on artists and communities.

Speakers:

  • Ryan N. Dennis (Chief Curator and Artistic Director of the Center for Art & Public Exchange (CAPE) at the Mississippi Museum of Art, and formerly the Curator and Programs Director at Project Row Houses).
  • Sixto Wagan (Director of the Center for Art and Social Engagement (CASE) at the University of Houston).
