Shoaf

the
University
of
Chicago
and
is
a
specialist
in
medieval
Italian
art.
In
addition
to
numerous
articles
on
sound
in
visual
art,
he
is
the
author
of
Monumental
Sounds:
Art
and
Listening
Before
Dante
(Brill,
2021).
