Having Trouble Connecting to Wi-Fi?
If you can’t connect to Wi-Fi at UH, you could be having issues with your Cougarnet password or the network certificate. Below are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Try resetting your Cougarnet password using the Cougarnet Password Wizard. If it has expired or forgotten it, you will be prompted to answer security questions based on your record in myUH.
- If you are having trouble connecting to UHSecure, you may need to renew your network certificate. Step-by-step instructions are available here: https://gethelp.uh.edu/kb/3785
- If you're still experiencing issues connecting to any UH Wi-Fi network, please bring your device to the UIT Help Desk, where our team can assist you. We're located in the Technology Commons at the rear of M.D. Anderson Library, across from the Student Centers. Walk-up support is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., excluding university holidays.
