Best-selling author and health and science journalist Catherine Price will share her expertise on the impact of a screen-based world and provide evidence-based strategies for reconnecting with parts of our lives that don't happen on a screen. Her campus visit kicks off the "Rebooting Our Relationship with Tech" lecture series hosted by the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center.

Tyler Bridegan with the Texas Attorney General's office discusses the state's evolving approach to internet privacy enforcement. A complimentary lunch will be included with your registration. His campus visit is a collaboration with the University of Houston Law Center.

The Hobby School joins hundreds of partners across the country to promote National Voter Education Week through student-centered activities and educational programming that empowers registered voters to find their polling location, understand their ballot and make a plan to vote.

Best-selling author and social scientist Safiya Umoja Noble will deliver the 2025 Elizabeth D. Rockwell Distinguished Lecture, sharing her expertise on issues of algorithmic discrimination and technology bias.
